MCUK Partner Cameron Carr Named Finalist as “Cyber Lawyer of the Year” by Intelligent Insurer
Congratulations to Mullen Coughlin UK (MCUK) Partner, Cameron Carr, for being named a “Cyber Lawyer of the Year” finalist for Intelligent Insurer’s Cyber Insurance Awards Europe 2025. This award “acknowledges an individual lawyer who has gone above and beyond to help their clients to navigate the legal complexities of cyber incidents.”
Nominated by industry peers across the UK, Europe and abroad, Cameron’s nomination and selection as a finalist underscores his commitment to data privacy and security incident response, information security crisis management and cybersecurity law. It also showcases MCUK’s growth into the UK and international market after its founding in January 2024. Since then, MCUK, led by Cameron, has handled over 170 data privacy and security incidents and grown the London office to include one additional partner (Richard Hall) and two associates (Alex Dimitrov and Alex DiMeo).
The winner of the “Cyber Lawyer of the Year” award, as well as the other 22 categories, will be selected by 14 judges composed of cyber insurance professionals from around the globe and announced at the February 5 award ceremony in London. Learn more here.
Mullen Coughlin Elevates Seven Law Clerks to Associate Attorney
Mullen Coughlin LLC is happy to announce the elevation of seven (7) law clerks to Associate Attorney in the Incident Response (IR) practice group – Elisabeth Wright, Landon Holben, Taylor Sargent, Megan Palmer, Devin Forbush, Julia Peare and Paige Ross – after their admittance to their respective state bar associations: Pennsylvania, Maine, Massachusetts and Ohio.
While a Law Clerk with the Firm during and after law school, the new attorneys worked closely with the IR team to assisting with the compiling of necessary information regarding data privacy and security incidents, as well as conducting legal research and providing analysis regarding applicable privacy and information security laws and regulations. This valuable experience and knowledge gained during their clerkship guides their counsel when responding to, and investigating, data privacy and security incidents and liaising with cyber insurance carriers and brokers, law enforcement and regulatory agencies.
Elisabeth and Landon received their J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law; Taylor and Megan from Temple University Beasley School of Law; Devin from University of Maine Law School; Julia from Roger Williams University School of Law; and Paige from Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
