Six New Associates Join Mullen Coughlin in April

Continuing its growth in the United States, Mullen Coughlin welcomed six (6) new associates to the firm in April – Ivana M. Alexander, Sarbjot Kaur Dhillon, Kyle C. Elzey, Aarthi Manohar, Karissa L. Smith and Teddy Starling.

Ivana Alexander joins the Incident Response practice area in Devon, PA. With over five years legal experience, she is a successful client advocate and Breach Coach for organizations who have suffered a data privacy and security incident. Ivana is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and received her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law.

Sarbjot Dhillon is also in Devon, PA and a member of the Incident Response practice group. She previously was a commercial litigator and now counsels organizations investigating and responding to data privacy and security events. She received her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

Kyle Elzey, based in Washington, DC, is a U.S. Army National Guard veteran with years of cybersecurity experience as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst. There, he gained valuable incident response and #cyber policy experience, which he uses when counseling organizations in a Breach Coach capacity as part of his current practice. He also worked with various U.S. federal and military entities such as the United States Cyber Command, the Pentagon, Army Cyber Command, and the Department of Defense. Kyle received his J.D. from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School and is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia.

Aarthi Manohar joins in the Firm’s Privacy Litigation practice area and is based in Devon, PA. An experienced litigator, she is well-versed in representing her clients in single-plaintiff and complex class action disputes under U.S. state and federal consumer protection laws and other legal bodies relevant to data privacy. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and received her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.

Karissa Smith is a former Law Clerk with Mullen Coughlin and joins the Advisory Compliance practice area. Based in New Jersey, she devotes her practice to counseling organizations across all industries in internet, technology, data privacy and information security law. She received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and is licensed in New Jersey.

Teddy Starling joins the Incident Response practice area and is based in Pennsylvania. As a Breach Coach, she counsels organizations impacted by a data privacy event on their legal, regulatory and/or contractual obligations stemming from the incident. She received her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
